Road to Real Estate

Charlotte City Council is scheduled to vote tonight on whether or not to add more trains for the South Charlotte’s Lynx Blue Line.  For them to even consider adding more cars is great for those that are fans of mass transit and transit oriented development (TOD).  It is obvious that people are buying on to the concept of the light rail and Charlotte is taking note of it.  I just hope that the town’s folk on the North side take note.  Social and economic trends point to a mass transit oriented society starting to develop.  Property values along public transportation and more specifically, light rail lines, are increasing more than any other area of a city/town.  Take note of this when purchasing your next piece of real estate.
